Lowri is one of the franchise owners of Mini First Aid Swansea, The Vale and Valleys alongside her husband Ryan. She is a GP and works in the local area. Prior to becoming a GP, Lowri worked as a junior doctor in hospitals across South West Wales and England. She is originally from West Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker. During her medical career, Lowri has been involved in teaching school pupils, medical students and junior doctors. Lowri and Ryan decided to join the Mini First aid team after attending one of their courses during maternity leave. They were really impressed by the course and couldn’t wait to get involved. Lowri and Ryan are parents to a busy one year old who is keeping them on their toes! Since becoming a parent, Lowri appreciates just how stressful looking after a child can be and understands the common worries about things that could go wrong with your own little one. She feels that it is vital that everyone has a basic knowledge of first aid and would like to give you the confidence to know what to do in an emergency situation.
Ryan is originally from Plymouth and studied medicine at Cardiff University. He works as a local GP and has previously worked in hospitals across South Wales and South West England. He has over 10 years’ experience working as a doctor. Ryan also regularly teaches medical students at the local university. He is passionate about teaching and would like to share his experience, knowledge and skills with you.
Hi, I am Grace and I am mum to 3 children. I have been a nurse for nearly 20 years and spent lots of time working with children in different settings. My little ones have kept us on our toes with meningitis scares, choking and breathing related incidents and I am so thankful I knew what to do to help. Often people say ‘I wouldn’t have had a clue!’ and that’s why I am so passionate about all our courses. We love to give you knowledge and skills to have confidence in First Aid situations for you and your family
